Derek Lazarus has 30 years of successful business experience, spanning diverse sectors from clothing to homewares, furniture, interior décor and property. Working across Sydney, Hong Kong, China and Vietnam, he has built an extensive network of business and social contacts, bringing a wealth of knowledge and perspective to the real estate industry.
As a resident of the eastern suburbs, Derek’s knowledge of the Australian property market is decades long. The decision to launch 3SQUARED was an easy one: he had identified incredible opportunities while working on the sales side of the industry and saw the chance to create a marketplace for buyers, matching and securing them with properties both off and on the market in a competitive environment that never stands still.
Derek is a highly motivated Class 1 Licensed Agent and Corporation Licensee in Charge. His strong work ethic and moral compass are attuned to ensuring the buyer walks away satisfied that their best interests have been served at every stage of the purchasing journey.
Having spent years on the client side of real estate, it was his love of property that drew Derek into the industry. Exiting his overseas interests gave him the freedom to invest his time and passion, applying his extensive knowledge of marketing and sales to a new field, where he has quickly established his credentials.
His approach is shaped by years in competitive global markets, where the imperative was to identify the needs of buyers and vendors, match every unique requirement, and make the whole experience professional and straightforward.
